Our current lead time is 1–2 weeks of shop time. The clock starts the day your part is received at our shop and ends when our work is finished — it does not include shipping in either direction. This is an average, not a guarantee; depending on our workload at the time it can run a bit faster or slower.

Your parts need paperwork in the box
This is the one step people forget. Without an intake sheet we don't know whose parts arrived, what you ordered, or where to send them when the work is done — and your job sits on the bench until we track you down.
Fill it out right now while your order ID is in front of you. It takes a minute.
Already filled one out? That's fine — just make sure it's in the box with your parts before you seal it, and that it shows this order ID.
Strip and clean the part
Your slide must arrive 100% stripped and cleaned. Remove any optic. Iron sights can stay — we'll pull and reinstall those ourselves if needed.
If it arrives assembled, a $20 fee is added to your invoice. If it arrives excessively dirty, a $10 cleaning fee applies.
Slides and barrels only — never a complete firearm
Argov Precision is not a Federal Firearms Licensee and cannot legally receive a complete firearm.
Pack it properly
Wrap each part separately in microfiber or bubble wrap so nothing shifts or contacts another part in transit. More cushioning is better.
Ship with tracking and insurance
Use a carrier that offers tracking and lets you insure the part for its full value. The inbound leg is yours to arrange — return shipping is included with your purchase and covers the return trip only.

Please print clearly. One sheet per unit. If you're sending parts from more than one firearm — a second slide, barrel, or recoil assembly — fill out and include a separate sheet for each one so nothing gets mixed up on our bench.
